Our tour guide was very informative and very helpful.
Organisation was good. Easy to find meeting point at cafe. Guides took us to elevator or stairs and left us to climb the dome. We took the stairs at 8am. Use elevator saves alot of sweating in June heat! My teenage kids didn't the viewing gallery floor not being flat/level. Please not the solid stone floor at the top slopes out to solid outer walls for rain drainage? Safe but may cause vertigo! I would have likely to seen the view at sunset with Rome lights on?. But the morning gives better light inside St.Peters. The cathedral is by far the best in the world for architecture and artwork. You will need 2hrs inside to see it all. Plus 1 hour for the dome.
