Our tour guide Gio was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable. answered everyone’s questions, and she was quite funny. Loved the entire tour!! Doing a tour is definitely worth the money, I would not have appreciated the full history behind what I was seeing without it. Also, the company was very helpful in helping me reschedule my tour.

This was a small group (12 people) tour with a knowledgable guide who spent most of the time in the colosseum and explained everything well. We ended in the Roman Forum after a little less than 2 hours (which was plenty, but we wondered a little about this as the tour was advertised as 2.5 hours - no big deal, just a little odd). Our guide did not spend much time on the Roman Forum, but pointed out a few places we could explore on our own before he left. He was also very approachable and ready to stay for more questions. By the time the tour ended, we were full of information and did not need the extra time. Our teenage kids really enjoyed this tour as well. In my opinion there is no need to take a private tour in the colosseum - save this for more crowded spaces like the Vatican Museums.

Our guide spoke really good English, could reply on any questions, and was really patient (although he told about himself he is not :)), if we wanted to take photos or wanted to go slower, he was paying attention to the whole group. First we were hesitating if we need a guide or not.. but no doubt, you need a guide for all these ancient spots. Also a huge plus point the priority entrance, the group had an appointment and we didn't need to wait the lines Highly recommended!
