Great to bypass lines. Guide's insight into specific pieces as well as the history oft the Vatican made the tour interesting and relevant, rather than a blur.
The tour was the right mix of details being shared and covering the important attractions in the Vatican Museum. A good overview of the paintings in Sistine Chapel was given beforehand and sufficient time inside to admire once you are inside.

Begin your guided walking tour at the Vatican Museums, with their immense collection built by the Popes throughout the centuries, and discover one of the world's most remarkable art collections.
See the Pio Clementino Hall, the Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere. Marvel at works by ancient cartographers in the Gallery of Maps and wander the Candelabra Gallery and the Gallery of Tapestries to see Flemish works by pupils of Raphael. Go inside the Sistine Chapel to see Michelangelo's legendary frescoes.
Leaving the Museum, follow your guide along the gigantic walls of the Vatican City and reach St. Peter's Square, dominated by Michelangelo's imposing Cupola and surrounded by the famous Bernini's double Colonnade, which houses St. Peter's Basilica the most important Christian church in the world.

Know before you go
- Due to the new regulation and Jubilee restrictions imposed by the Vatican City, starting from March 1, 2025, it will no longer be possible to include a visit to St. Peter's Basilica in this tour. The explanation of the Basilica will take place from the outside, in St. Peter's Square.
- The Raphael's Rooms are not included in the tour and are visited only when the Vatican makes the internal itinerary mandatory.
- It is forbidden to bring metal objects, big bags and animals (assistance dogs allowed).
- It is not permitted to wear shorts, miniskirts and have uncovered shoulders.
- No refunds will be issued to customers who are late and miss the tour.
