I really enjoyed our visit to the Vatican. Our guide, Pasquale, was very knowledgeable and injected his talks with a good level of humour. We skipped straight past the queues and went straight in which was great. I think, without a guide, our visit could well have been long and boring. Pasquale showed us all the main bits, gave relevant information which provided a context to what we were seeing and took us through the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica in a timely fashion. The tour took the full three hours. The time whizzed by but I definitely felt tired at the end of it! Doing this tour was money very well spent.
Paolu was an amazing and passionate guide! It was our favorite day in Rome and we were awestruck by the sites, but felt it was the best decision to go with a tour guide after experiencing Vatican City. The knowledge Paolo gave us was very informative and we would go again! Highly recommend adding the Basicila ticket!
