      Take a tour of one of the holiest sites in Christendom on this guided walking tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. First, visit the Pine Courtyard, Belvedere Courtyard, the Gallery of the Maps, Candelabra Gallery, Pio Clementino's Rooms, the Tapestry Gallery, Raphael Rooms (only on early morning tours), and the Sistine Chapel. Then, be led by an expert guide to some of the major attractions, as well as to some lesser-known spots that other tourists often miss. You will also get to see other galleries of the Vatican corridors. Finally, visit Michelangelo's Pietà at St. Peter's Basilica before concludig your tour at the Sistine Chapel.

      • St. Peter's is closed during the following times: Wednesdays: 8 AM - 12 PM, December 24th and 31st. During these times, the tour will visit other parts of the museums
      • The Vatican can get very crowded all year round. April to June and September to October are high-season months
      • Skip-the-line entrance is included only for the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. For St. Peter's Basilica, you might be asked to wait in a line
      • Meeting time is subject to change; if this occurs, you will receive a call or message from the activity provider

      This trip has the skip the line, so almost worth it just for this . The guide was extremely knowledgeable , however her presentation did leave me a bit overwhelmed with historical overload. This trip together with the volumes of general entrance people also felt a bit like we were falling behind our time slot slightly governed by the masses around you even in March ! I did have to switch off from the guide a bit to take in the wonders of this amazing place.

      Raúl was our guide in Spanish and after a bit of a late start, we set off and had no queues to get in and past security. He was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of the history of the art and its significance and was very enthusiasatic. The museums were very busy and the Sistine Chapel was a bit of a disappointment because we were herded in like cattle and there were loads of people in little space - but that is how they organise it at the Vatican, nothing to do with the tour. Then we were taken out a side door which took us to the Basilica, where again Raúl's explanation was very useful and enjoyable. We were then left to visit the crypt and the dome on our own if we wanted, but after 3 hours we really just wanted lunch!

      Took the noon tour. Yeah sure, there are a vast amount of people, but still, we didn't have to stand in line for long, which was a huge plus. Always stay close to the guide because the wireless headphones operate over Bluetooth and lose signal if you're too far away from the guide, and then you miss the vital insight you've paid for. Our tour guide had a cynical humour which was perfect for my taste.
