Great overview of the Vatican museum as you need days to view their whole exhibits . Our guide Laura Antonuccui was very knowledgeable and her her sense of dry humour made the guided tour seem like minutes. It’s a great introduction to see the Vatican museum and Basilica and especially the Sistine Chapel.

Our guide Maria was fantastic, very friendly and as an archeologist she had alot of history and information not just about the Vatican but also about the city of Rome. We would've loved to have spent the whole day with her! January is a great time to visit the Vatican. Less crowds and easier for the group to stay together. Very efficient service. No issues. Well worth it.

Wonderful tour. We found ourselves at the established meeting point and from there the guide accompanied us first inside the Vatican museums, first passing through the internal parts and then into the external courtyards and onto the terrace with a view of the dome. At the end of the tour we went down to the Sistine Chapel (a marvellous one to say the least) in which, however, the guide cannot give explanations as it is a sacred place, for this reason scale reproductions of the frescoes are hung in the courtyard so that the guides can make their explanation. Then you enter St. Peter's, go around the whole basilica until you end the tour in the square with an explanation of the enormous colonnade. I recommend this tour and I thank our guide Antonella who was able to convey all her passion for art and very detailed explanations of what we saw.
