Our guide was Marilena Tamiolaki: knowledgeable, historically and artistically fit, enthusiastic about her job, friendly and attentive to the group. Of course, it was also an advantage that our group consisted of only 10 people. So there were hardly any problems in the crush in the Vatican. Can you please forward this recognition to our guide? We will recommend friends to insist on their guided tour when booking for the Vatican Museums.

I found Marilena very nice, except for one question we asked, she was a bit annoyed.. she spoke with a lot of accent, it was sometimes difficult to follow her. Otherwise she answered all questions. I found 3 hours too long, it's definitely not for people who can't stand on their feet for 3 hours or have panic attacks.

Nice way to explore the Vatican. You should not go without a guide to Vatican if you know nothing about it like me. Worth of money, nice paced walking and very detailed information and stories. Worth in every way. However, I suggest to take the tour early in the morning because as it becomes noon, you would spend hours to get pass the security check. I would suggest latest at 08:30
