This was a really nice tour. Visiting the Vatican on your own is not as good as having someone guide you through the meaning of each and every element that the place has. The tour guides were there from the beginning until the very end to make sure that we're enjoying our experience.

We started out with problems because we could not find the meeting place and several people gave us bad advice. Melinda has trouble walking and we were all over the grounds. However, once we found the meeting place one of the guides who took us to Serena for the Coliseum tour ran ahead to let our guide know we were coming. So it was not a good start: we were hot and tired. However, our guide was so knowledgeable we were immediately enthralled.

What about San Pietro is unique but much of the credit goes to the guide, a Roman girl (sorry I don't remember the name) who was able to give the right taste to everything, with historical information and curiosities. The kids, in the age group between 7 and 13, got involved and had fun. The times of the excursion are correct. Well done and thanks for the great experience
