Rome: Guided Tour of Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

The tour was extensive, very well executed and planned by our positive and well informed tour guide Alessandra. Alessandra with her vast knowledge in Art History took us through the beats of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. It was fun, interactive session with jokes and a crackling sense of humour. It kept the tour feeling light and breezy through all the 3 hours even when you have to sometimes brave the sun rays. It’s a marvel to feel like you are part of a history that is so medieval and somehow you also become a small part of it. Rome is truly an open air museum and we got a wonderful and conclusive idea of it. Thank you so much, Alessandra! She also gave us other suggestions on where to eat well and more hidden gems to explore in our time in Rome. Grazie Mille!!!!

Alexandra was the best guide we had during our entire Italy trip. She was fun, friendly, caring and most importantly, very very knowledgeable. She knew how to tell stories in very interesting and informative ways which made us not to lose focus the entire time. She could answer all kinds of questions our group asked and she even recommended other places we could visit to experience Rome better. There was a period where many of us wanted to use the washroom and due to the long queue, we had to wait for everyone for almost half an hour. Honestly, I thought Alexandra would calculate that time taken into the tour but she didn’t! In fact she took more time to still bring us to all other sites and made sure we were not too tired because she really wanted us to see rather than skipping some. We couldn’t ask for more. It was a great experience and once again, the best tour we could ever have. Thank you Alexandra
