Full description
Skip the long lines to the Colosseum and explore the largest building of the Roman Empire on a small-group tour. Built to host the gladiator battles that typified the culture of Ancient Rome, the Colosseum remains by far the most impressive building in Rome today. Meet your guide outside the Colosseum and walk to the front of the long lines with your priority entrance ticket. Once inside the stadium, built so that members of the general public could enjoy the violent spectacles alongside the Roman emperors, learn how people were seated by social rank and wealth. Hear about the gladiatorial games that were officially banned in 438 AD and how fights between wild beasts continued until 523. Exit the Colosseum and receive your access ticket to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Take a leisurely stroll to these attractions and see the ruins of Ancient Rome’s social and political center.

The tour was ok, the guide Stefano was a funny man and told us many interesting facts about Coloseum. But in general I dont thing this tour is worth that money, eventhough we skipped the line but anyway it took 15-20 min to get in there, then he left 30min earlier, so in the end we spend with him something over an hour. We paid for 2hour-tour Coloseum, Foro Romano and Palatine Hill and the last two we explored on our own, so in my opinion it is better to buy a normal ticket for 16€ and audio quide for all three for 12€ than to buy this tour for 36€

I was very lucky to have a private tour with Stefano, since there were not many travelers to book the tour on a December rainy day. I appreciated they did not cancel the tour in those conditions, especially since I had no other day to make it. I really learned a lot with Stefano and had fun along the way. I totally recommend him!

We only had 1 day to spend in Rome so we wanted to ensure that we saw as much as possible. So we used jump the queue to avoid any potential long waits, we had heard bad things. The meeting place was a little confusing in the sense that there are two metro stations very close to each other, 1 above the other, but the picture that they sent enabled us to meet at the right one. The tour guide was on time and very friendly. The tour was comprehensive and covered all areas of the Colosseum, both within and the surrounding area of the forum. The guide was very friendly, super knowledgeable and appropriate to the audience. There was lots of laughter on the tour and this really appealed to my daughter as some of these places can lose interest for the younger members of the audience. However, my daughter enjoyed herself throughout the entire tour. Even though the queue to get in wasn't massive I would still totally recommend this jump the line tour simply for the tour guide, well worth it.
