This is recommended especially if it’s your first time in Rome. As soon as we exited Terminal 3, we queued up to bus station 12 and it came exactly on time of our booking slot. They would ask you were you want to be dropped off on entry to the bus as they scan the QR code. Our trip going to rome was good however leaving rome back to the airport we had to book another ticket (although still one company) as the location of the meeting point (Termini station) was far from where we were staying. Our place is closest to the Vaticano stop which is our drop off point going to rome but also as pick up for the shuttle going back. You have to purchase a ticket (7 euros each) to be able to ride the bus back go the airport. They won’t accept the GetyourGuide voucher as this is not the pick up point from the app. I would recommend that if you are closest to Vatican area to go for a single trip rather than the roundtrip unless you are closest to the Rome Termini station.

We missed our scheduled bus due to flight delays but we were able to get onto the next bus no problem. Really easy to find the bus station once you leave the airport. Bus is slightly dated and can imagine it being really stuffy in the summer, but it did have WiFi and charging ports. Not sure if there were onboard toilet facilities. Would recommend this service and getyourguide is easy to book with!

Really easy and slick. Only downside was the return shuttle times from Termini to the airport were 0715 or 0910 with no bus timetabled for the hour in between. This meant we had to either risk getting to the airport later than advised or much too early.
