Begin your tour at the Church of Santa Maria in Via Lata, the house in which St Paul was imprisoned for many months while in Rome and from where he wrote many of his epistles.
From there, continue with your expert guide to the Mamertine Prison which was the ancient Roman prison in which both St Peter & Paul were held. After learning about the history, head to the Church of St Peter in Chains which holds the very chains that bound St Peter and which is also home to the masterpiece of Michelangelo - the statue of Moses.
End your tour at the magnificent Papal Major Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls - now a Benedictine monastery - where St Paul's body was laid after his beheading by the Romans.
