- For men, women, and kids alike: knees and shoulders must be covered, so no shorts (Bermuda and Capri trousers are acceptable). A sleeveless shirt is fine during the tour, but please bring something to cover your shoulders
- Entrance requires passing through a metal detector for everyone, which can cause queues
- Liquids are not permitted in the Colosseum; however, you can refill your water bottles inside
