  • The Colosseum is subject to occasional closures. If modifications are needed and time permits, you will be contacted prior to the tour. In the event of last-minute closures, modifications may only be communicated at the tour start time
  • The full names of all participants must be provided at the time of booking and must match the names on the ID/Passport. Name changes are not permitted.
  • A government-issued ID/passport is required for every participant. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing your entrance to the monument.
  • Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers.
  • Due to the religious nature of the Vatican Museums, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees.

This "Rome in a Day" tour was hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had while traveling, and it was all thanks to Marco C., our exceptional guide. Not only was he highly educated in his field, but he also brought a personal touch to the tour by sharing a book he compiled himself, detailing the history of each place we visited. This book was an incredible resource—full of in-depth information and fascinating insights that you wouldn’t get from a typical tour. Marco C.’s passion for archaeology was evident at every stop. "nick" was an amaizing tour guide. and although it was hot and humid he made sure to keep us hydrated and in the shade every chance he got. when they "rome in a day" they arnt kidding! if you only have a few days in rome then this is the tour for you! we saw everything we wanted to see! walked almost 9 miles but man was it amaizing! would definitely recommend this tour!

Ambra, our guide was fantastic. She was an archeologist by trade and she told so many amazing stories about the colosseum, vestal virgins, and Ancient Rome! The Roman Forum walk was also incredible. I’m still raving about our food of a tour guide she was! We had a break for lunch, before the Colosseum and Vatican. This tour is a lot for a big day, so if you’re short for time this tour is great. There’s barely any shade in the Colosseum so definitely bring water and a hat for shade. We went through the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum, and Ambra assisted us with getting to the Basilica which was so incredible also. I would highly recommend this tour; organised well and groups are small enough to not get lost or feel over crowded.
