Full description
On this special tour, children will enjoy treasure hunts, quizzes, photo contests and other activities that will keep them engaged whilst at the same time enjoying sightseeing with their parents. Visit the highlights of Rome’s city centre; Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia and many other amazing places, led by a knowledgeable guide. With a fun and informative tour, children have a great time whilst also learning something about the history of this eternal city. Rome in the evening is more beautiful and enjoyable than during the day. Benefit from a tour when daytime visitors have departed, many tourists have returned to their hotels and there are fewer cars and scooters on the road. Rome is altogether quieter and less frenetic. Escape the unbearable heat of the hot summer days with a pleasant evening tour. Even if you have seen some of the sights by day, see them afresh during the evening as they are beautifully lit up. Make sure to enjoy a family–friendly stop on your tour as you savor authentic pizza and gelato from traditional makers, something for the whole family to enjoy!

Our family of 6 enjoyed this tour. The guide gives everyone a headset to wear while walking us through the various parts of Rome. At times it was difficult to follow what he was saying because of the distraction of walking across streets and paying more attention to traffic rather than his commentary, and sometimes his accent was a challenge to understand- but this is no fault of his, nor a reflection of his knowledge of English, just a little more effort while walking in a big, crowded city and trying to focus on so many things at once. Overall, I would recommend this tour and we got to see a lot of the city- which was our main goal.

Perfect way to get going the day you land in Rome. Forces you and the family to not oversleep on that arrival ‘nap’ you need after an overnight flight. Learned how and what to order at quick stop Pizza & Gelato shops (perhaps a local beer too) are are now ready to replicate for the rest of the trip.

Enjoyable Evening

We joined our 4 year old granddaughter on this well paced evening of fun and adventure. There was another child in our small group and Marco kept both engaged and happy. The pizza and gelato were added treats. Good job, Marco! PS...Only afterward did I think that a question about a certain square light in the sidewalk may have been answered with it being part of this very special “illuminated” tour!
