    You can start your tour at any of the bus stops along the route: Termini Railway Station; Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore; the Colosseum; Porta San Sebastiano; the Catacombs and Church of San Sebastiano; Caffarella Park; Domine Quo Vadis; the Baths of Caracalla; the Circus Maximus; and Piazza Venezia. The online voucher must be exchanged at the beginning of the tour in order to receive the Catacombs tour ticket. The last entrance is 1 hour before the closing.

    We are happy to see top sights in 1 day ...

    It took a little organizational talent on our part and also a good sense of direction that we were always in the right place at the right time ... The bus schedule to the catacombs should be more visible and it should also be announced that another bus would be taken must, who does not drive so often ... Allow a little bit of time for cycling, because this way of getting to know ancient Rome is awesome, but it takes time ... With our thoughts a successful day!

    The employees for the Hop On Hop Off company were very helpful. It was a good way to see many areas and sites in the city. The buses had several problems. On one bus the audio to the headsets stopped working. Another bus was broken down and could not continue so our wait time to continue our tour was longer than normal. It was raining but some buses had only partial cover on the upper deck seats. Ponchos were provided which was helpful. The Catacombs guide was very knowledgeable but the tour was mostly empty tombs and rooms to view from a distance. The advertisement for the tour showed stacks of human sculls but on the tour there was none to be seen. So the photo is just a gimmick to sell tickets and not a reality on the tour. It was not as interesting as we thought it would be.

    Bus only ran hourly at an odd time that was not posted clearly. We were supposed to be able to hop on any bus but only the purple line for the catacomb tour. The employees sent us away twice and did not help. Finally we found an employee that understood and let us on a bus and arranged for us to get tickets to the catacomb but since our tickets were over at the end of the day we were going to have to go to the main office. We did not get to go to the catacombs
