I have been on several tours and participated in several planned activities with my friends on this trip to Italy (a gondola ride in Venice, a Murano glass demonstration, a wine tasting in a Tuscan vineyard, Pitti Palace, the climb of Il Duomo in Florence, Vatican, Colosseum, etc.) but this tour was the BEST “la più bella” of all those activities. Our tour guide Caterina was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The staff at the shop was kind and approachable. I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to see Rome from a different view. This is my third trip to Rome but today I saw things I’ve never seen before and with local insight (from Caterina) that put it in perspective. This is good for families too. I was with my 14-year-old godchild and there were two other kids around her age too.

What a perfect day in Rome. Luckily the weather was a little cooler and drier than it had been in the weeks before so there was a lovely breeze as we rode around the Appian Way. My first time on an e-bike - how lovely to really be able to just enjoy the surroundings. I highly recommend this activity for someone who wants to enjoy some outdoor time in Rome. I don't usually do guided tours but really loved this experience.

Overall my friend and I really enjoyed this experience on the bike tour. It was informative, entertaining, and a great form of exercise. The E-Bikes are powerful so if you’ve never ridden one be sure to test it out first. Loved the catacombs and the gates to rome. Unfortunately with about an hour to go on the trip I went down a steep hill, lost control of the bike, and severed a vein in my leg and needed to be evacuated via ambulance to the hospital. The guides were very reassuring and prepared with a first aid kit when I was bleeding profusely. I mention this to commend the guides on their preparedness and ability to call emergency services swiftly. The organizer, Stefan, even called me several times in the hospital to make sure I was okay. Would definitely recommend this experience, would just recommend walking the bike down any steep hills.
