If you love to cook and have an interest in Italian cuisine, be sure to book this half-day cooking class and cultural experience when you’re in Rome. Visit a market, choose your wine, and learn from one of the best family chefs in the Eternal City.
What to Expect
This cooking class and cultural experience in Rome is a unique opportunity to learn to cook like an Italian and discover what makes the food taste so good!
On this 4-hour activity, you’ll be picked up at Eddie's Fun main office at 10:00 and start out with a quick Italian breakfast of coffee and pastries at a typical pasticceria.
Then you’ll visit some specialty markets and shop for fresh meats and vegetables with your instructor, to prepare for a gourmet lunch.
Take a walk through the city center before arriving at the lovely home of the chef. In the comfortable personal surroundings you’ll learn to prepare a typical and delicious Italian meal.
The chef has been cooking for her large family in the traditional way for over 50 years, so you probably won't be using microwaves and electric stoves!
After your cooking lesson you’ll enjoy the meal you’ve just prepared, and will learn to properly pair the dishes with wine.
