Let me start by saying, Lucera is amazing! She’s super funny, engaging, and made sure every bit of the tour was an awesome experience. The first stop at LaNicchia Cafe was a dream—I mean, tasting red and green pesto, plus black and white truffle? Heaven! Then we hit Paciotti Salumeria, which was such a treat. We met the shop owner, had a great charcuterie-style tasting of different meats and cheeses, and he explained it all in Italian while Lucera translated. Though, I’m pretty sure he understood more English than he let on, which made it all the more charming. My favorite part was the pasta dinner at IL Segreto. The carbonara? Best one I’ve had—creamy, comforting, and just perfect. We wrapped it all up with lemongrass gelato that was as fantastic as everything else. By the end, I was completely stuffed, but in the happiest way possible. Lucera absolutely nailed it. I can’t recommend this experience enough!
