Tartania was awesome in explaining different kind of local food to us, not to mention the food itself was great in taste and proportions. At the end of the tour, we were even given some information in a brochure about recommended restaurants to taste authentic food in Rome. Totally recommend this.

Tatiana was awesome. She was knowledgeable with stories of everything of the local cuisine. Told us great stories and a pleasure to be part of the tour. Tatiana loves what she does and we so enjoyed this tour. Would absolutely recommend if you want to experience Rome like the locals.

The tour is geared more towards Americans who are unfamiliar with the Italian way of eating at home and are willing to pay the relatively high price. We were walking near the Bochi Pizzarium, the area wasn't touristy, but it wasn't picturesque in ambience either. The food and drinks were good and plentiful. But I think that for the money, with a little information in advance, you can sit in the city much nicer and eat even better quality food. All in all, there was a small antipast plate, slices of pizza, filled bread, pasta and tiramisu. There were no typical Roman meat dishes.
