We had THE best time with Chef Emanuele tofay. The atmosphere was great.. it was a small friendly group of 12, with people from different countries. Every step was beautifully explained with a lot of humor, it was very easy to follow. I have a garlic allergy and even this was no problem at all. Emanuele offered me to alter the ingredients for my tortellini & ravioli slightly, even cooked a seperate sauce, so I didn't miss out on anything. the quick Tiramisu was something new to us. Everything tasted amazing. This Pasta Making course was one of the best experiences we had whilst staying in Rome. it made our holiday, left us with a big smile a full belly and feeling happy. if you are looking for a fun way of learning to make pasta, book THIS course! Full description

You will create, all from scratch, your homemade 5 shapes of fresh pasta in a "Antica Osteria" founded in the late 1800s and recently converted into cooking school. You will taste your own pasta, with two different kind of italian fresh sauce, created and explained by the chef, immersed in a magical atmosphere between past and present.
You will make the thin dough sheet with the rolling pin professional technique, safe food cutting procedures, realization of ravioli, agnolotti del plin, tortellini. cappelletti and fettuccine. The experience includes a delicious tasting of local cheese with fresh prosecco. Tasting our different kind of pasta, sipping good Italian wine, an express tiramisu preparation will follow as a dessert. To all the participants will be offered complimentary, the exclusive Professional Chef Hat with logo of "Pastificio Faini".

If there is absolutely ANYTHING you NEED to do while you are in Rome… THIS IS IT!!!! Emanuele is PHENOMENAL! This class is so much fun!!! I have made homemade pasta at home, but turns out, I have been doing it wrong! You learn SO MUCH! And he teaches you in such a fun and engaging way. He has a way of making everything so fun and relaxing. You cooking, you dance, you laugh, and you eat some DELICIOUS pasta that you get to learn how to make yourself! He is such an amazing teacher. If you don’t understand, or you are doing something wrong, he hops in and helps in a constructive, positive, and uplifting way. He is truly a master at his craft. You can tell he loves what he does and he knows his stuff! I just truly cannot recommend this enough. My husband and I booked this on our honeymoon and I wish we could do something like this again every night! This was truly something we will remember.
