Full description
On this 3-hour evening walking tour you’ll meet your guide at Piazza del Popolo, where churches, fountains, and monuments tastefully embellish the square. Walk up to the Pincio Terrace to admire the sunset over Rome and enjoy breathtaking views over the city. Visit the famous Piazza di Spagna and Bernini’s Barcaccia Fountain. Continue your walk to the stunning Trevi Fountain, which is the largest Baroque fountain in Rome. Legend has it that if you toss a coin over your left shoulder into the Fountain you’ll return to Rome one day. Visit Piazza della Rotonda and admire the exterior of the historic Pantheon. Built in 27 B.C. the Pantheon was dedicated to all the Roman gods. In the 7th century, it was converted to a church dedicated to Mary and the martyrs. It is also the resting place of some major Renaissance artists, including Raffaello. Admire Bernini’s magnificent 4 Rivers Fountain in the center of iconic Piazza Navona. The square also features other important sculptural and architectural creations, including the Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone by Borromini, Palazzo Pamphili, the Neptune Fountain at the northern end, and the Moor Fountain at the southern end. End your evening walk at Campo de' Fiori, a site that at one time was noted for races and executions. In the center of the square you’ll see the statue of Giordano Bruno. Today Campo de’ Fiori is a busy marketplace in the morning and a center of nightlife after the sun goes down. It’s the perfect place to continue your evening in the Eternal City after your guided tour.

Our tour guide was Andrada, and she was super amazing and knowledgeable. Passing by the landmarks and obelisks on your own can be dull and boring, but having someone explaining the history behind everything is what defines your visit to Rome. We've been to all the places by ourselves, my wife and I, before the tour.. when we did the tour, it felt like we're seeing them for the first time.

Andrada, our guide was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and engaging she brought the history of Rome to life for us. She has a wonderful sense of humor and an easy going nature that made us feel we were touring with a friend. I highly recommend this tour. The city is magically beautiful at night.

We landed in Rome in the morning and couldn't get into our hotel room for awhile. We ended up walking around a while. Although we saw some great things, it was just a so-so experience. Later that day we decided to book this tour - even though it was going to many of the places we had just been to on our own. Well that's when we feel our Rome vacation really started. To see the sights without the history behind them is just not fufilling. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Though I was nervous that my husband would really struggle with the walking and the steps, she was always accommodating and he made it through fine. The night tour weather was so much more pleasant than during the day. Instead of always trying to seek out some shade, you could focus on the sights. I highly recommend this tour.
