Full description
Your adventure begins close to St. Maria Maggiore one of the most beautiful basilicas of Rome. Step one is getting accustomed to your e-bike before hitting the road. The journey outside city center starts with views of the Coliseum, Circus Maximus, and Terne di Caracalla. After exiting the imperial city through the Aurelian Walls you will ride along the original cobblestones of via Appia Antica, the road that made Rome great. Historic landmarks along the way include the the Catacombs of Saint Callixtus, the Villa of Massenzio, and the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella. The tour includes a guided visit of the Catacombs, then it's time to reach the ancient Roman water lines of the Parco degli Acquedotti and Parco di Tor Fiscale. Your experience continues with a grilled meal in the shade of a water spring beloved by modern-day citizens of Rome. After lunch, time to head back through the Caffarella Valley with its stunning Ninfeo di Egeria.

It was a really fun thing to do with teenagers. We all loved it. The kids took to the e-bikes straight away; mum took a little longer to adjust (!) but it was excellent. A really magic way to see Rome and get out into the countryside. Slight nail biting getting back into Rome but it was all part of the adventure. Can thoroughly recommend.

Our tour guide Bruno was amazing. He knew a lot about Rome and its history. This biking trip was a highlight of our trip. Riding an e-bike is very easy so we could enjoy the scenery without being exhausted. I really recommend this experience to everybody when in Rome.

This was the best 4 hours in Rome! Our guide kept us safe while traveling in traffic but most of our ride was on peaceful, beautiful trails and the appian antica road. We loved the stops along the way and the acqueducts. Lunch of grilled meat and vegetables was loved by our family of five. Perfection!
