Great tour, even in the rain. The guide was fantastic and was very knowledgeable. One thing to note about the meeting point: if you walk there instead of taking the metro, make sure you walk down to the lower level through the metro stop... The tree and the green kiosk are right outside the doors on the right. We got lost and were late as a result.

Our guide was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! He didn't just spout out a bunch of facts, he told stories with humor and reality and compared to things we understand today. He was entertaining, extraordinarily knowledgeable, SO KIND and conscious of our group with children and a special needs child in a wheelchair. 10 out of 10 would recommend this tour and this guide!!

We booked through GetYourGuide and our tour was with Roman Vacations. Mircea was our tour guide and he was awesome - an amazing wealth of knowledge! He was particularly thoughtful of our unique situation, bringing a wheelchair as well as young children. He let my son carry the tour flag, which made my son feel invested in the tour and appreciated. It was fun. The Colosseum was awesome, but my favorite part was Palatine Hill, the history of Rome through the centuries, and the phenomenal view from the top! Definitely recommend.
