We took the 3 hr underground colosseum your which included Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. Suzanne our tour guide was brilliant at keeping us hydrated and giving us as much shade as possible but the heat we too much and my Mother had a turn, again Suzanne dealt with it with calm and we felt in safe hands - so much that my mother continued on parts of the tour once she had come round a bit. Having a tour guide was super , made the whole experience calm and organised. Suzanne gave us lots of interesting info, where to take the beat pictures and the history which my father loved. My only suggestion is that Suzanne try and creates more story telling and it's was a bit dry in places. Would absolutely recommend Crown Tours!

We had a not so great experience with our previous tour at St. Peter’s Basilica so were a little hesitant about this tour. Well, walked Alba who was simply amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and created many stories to put the group “back in time” and the feeling of actually being at the Colosseum during the ancient Roman times. There was such a heat wave in Rome during our tour and she was also very conscientious of the need to be in shade and drink plenty of water. She shared many photo’s of what the Colosseum looked like originally vs. what it looks like today and also made sure that we had opportunities to take many pictures before continuing on. We only wished that she were our tour guide for all of the tours we did throughout the city.

We were informed a few days prior that our initial tour booking was canceled, so we were moved to a different tour group. This was not the company's fault, but rather the public was not able to access certain areas of the Colosseum due to work being done. We were nervous about being moved into a different group but were pleasantly surprised by the service. The guide, David, was excellent. He was informative, funny, and even made sure to have water breaks in the heat. The company tried to give us a complimentary tour as compensation, but they only had availability the following day when we were no longer in Rome. Overall very happy with the service
