You can enjoy a special perspective of the Colosseum, where you will feel like a true gladiator did during a “Ludus Gladiatorius”. Your guide will tell you all about gladiators' combats, as well as many stories about fool emperors who played in the arena as gladiators against wild beasts. From the Arena floor, you will also have a view directly above the undergrounds. Even though we booked at the very last minute, the company got us into the colosseum with minimal waiting. Our knowledgeable guide—a trained Roman archeologist—gave us interesting information while doing his best to keep us in the shade whenever possible. We enjoyed the tour! Next time we will purchase the ticket to not just go to the arena but also under the arena!

This is a very long tour which covered the coliseum for over an hour and we were stood around listening to the guide for long periods! Make sure you are prepared for the weather as I was cold for most of it. Lots of people left early but we did stick it out. The sites were amazing not to be missed maybe the guide could shorten her bit and allow people to take photos? The Roman forum was definitely the best part of the tour more time could be spent exploring here but still feel 3 hours is too long

Large organization, from various sites, messy with large groups. Italians who speak English are always harder to understand. Group of Colloseum 20pers. No 16. Then transferred to another forum and Palestinian guide. The guides were unraveling and were called on the spot how far they were due to a new group. Furthermore, nice tour, clear explanation with guide.
