We were skeptical at first; we never do tours. But a place so overwhelming and with 3000 years of history, like Rome … even we needed some guidance. On the morning of the tour, it was easy to find our specific guide in the sea of other tours about to start. And like the booking mentioned, we skipped all the lines. The only line we had a bit of a wait for was security… but even that wasn’t too bad. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Rome and how to bring it to a modern lens. She made jokes and cultural references and was very personable. Throughout the long and informative tour, we never felt bored or tired. We had a group of 14 guests, and that was about perfect to be able to visit all the sites and have time for beautiful pictures. When we come back, we wish to have our guide again and maybe get to learn more about the ancient city.

The entire tour was absolutely fascinating. We especially enjoyed the Colosseum and the arena floor. Our guide was very informative and enthusiastic.
