Discover the Colosseum in the serenity of night with a guided tour. Enjoy access to the main areas of the structure, as well as exclusive access to the underground dungeons and arena floor under the moonlight, where fierce gladiator battles once took place.

Upon arrival at the Colosseum in the evening, meet your guide who will escort you on your exclusive journey. Away from the usual crowds of the day, enjoy the opportunity to admire the Colosseum in a more intimate and engaging way, as you first discover the grandstands. Then, you will enter one of the restrictive areas of the monument, the underground. Discover a network of tunnels where lions, tigers, and other fearsome animals were kept. See the remnants of cages, wooden elevators, and gladiator rooms where combatants awaited their frightful fate in the arena.

Wow ! Just wow ! The Colosseum is beautiful at night under lights. The tour guides were engaging and interesting. And the best thing is there are NO crowds. We got up early one morning and walked Rome at dawn and saw the Colosseum in the morning light which was also beautiful. Would recommend doing this also to get both perspectives.

It was great to go into the coliseum and have a tour with no other people around except the 25 people in our group. It was a surreal feeling. The colosseum is beautiful at night and our tour guide was passionate, energetic and extremely knowledgeable. I had been there about 10 years ago during the day with the crowds and this was worth the extra money.

100% the right time to do it. Our tour guide from the tour operator was lovely. Brill to get a bit of information before heading in. On the night the organizing of the groups was poor and slow. This caused a delay so our tour inside in the colosseum was rushed because we were late. Not due to any participant showing up but because of the organizer. This was disappointing as the second tour guide who works for the colosseum had to rush through the tour. I’m sure it was a once off rather than every night but was definitely a little disappointing.
