It was a thoroughly enjoyable tour of the city's main attractions. We took plenty of photos while we listened to the audio guide on the bus. We completed one loop then hopped off at the Colosseum during the second lap. It was a hot day so the top was covered to keep the passengers in the shade during the tour. There was ample opportunity to purchase cold water as well. The tour was really good value for the cost. It was certainly an easy way to see many of the highlights of Rome. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hop On Hop Off Bus tour to any tourist of Rome.

The QR codes in the phone should be valid tow full day. If the family wants to split and some want to stray for longer in one of the stops, or if by mistake someone is given the print out of a child ticket, as it happened in our case, the QR code was not considered valid ! I had to stay on the bus for 5 consecutive stops until I reached the rest of the family to get the right ticket and be allowed to hop off. That does not make any sense when the company has set up an APP to make it easier for customers .

It was not bad because 2 days before our excursion we walked and were very tired, but we saw everything! there is little information on this tour (strange, because Rome has such a rich history) and it does not last long at all! I can't say "don't take this tour" but I can say it's not worth the money!
