We were the only people on the tour. Our guide was excellent. You could tell that he had extensive knowledge of Rome. We did a bit of walking, and that allowed us to see the sights more closely. There was almost no one at the Trevi fountain at midnight. We would recommend this your to anyone.

Full description

Step aboard a comfortable golf cart and embark on a journey through the heart of Rome, guided by a knowledgeable local expert. This tour offers a unique, relaxing way to experience the city’s most iconic landmarks, weaving through historic streets and picturesque squares without the hassle of long walks.

A Scenic Start in Villa Borghese

Beginning at Piazzale Flaminio, we drive into the lush Villa Borghese, Rome’s stunning central park. Here, we pause at the Pincio Terrace, a panoramic balcony offering an unforgettable view over Piazza del Popolo and the rooftops of the Eternal City.

From La Dolce Vita to Rome’s Grand Palaces

Descending through Porta Pinciana, we cruise up Via Veneto, the legendary street of La Dolce Vita, lined with elegant cafés and grand hotels. Passing Piazza Barberini, we admire the Barberini Palace, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, before reaching Piazza delle Quattro Fontane, where four stunning fountains mark the crossroads of ancient Rome.

Imperial Rome and the Colosseum

Driving past the Quirinal Palace, the residence of the Italian president, we approach the Salita del Grillo, right behind the Imperial Forums. This brings us to one of the most awe-inspiring sites in the world: the Colosseum. This massive amphitheater, once the stage for gladiatorial battles, still echoes the grandeur of Ancient Rome.

Chariot Races & Legends of the Mouth of Truth

Our next stop is the Circus Maximus, the vast arena that once hosted thrilling chariot races. Nearby, in the Forum Boarium, we visit the legendary Mouth of Truth and admire two of Rome’s oldest surviving temples.

From Ancient Theaters to the Heart of the City

Passing by the elegant ruins of the Theatre of Marcellus, we arrive at Piazza Venezia, where we take in the imposing Vittoriano (Altar of the Fatherland) and the historic Capitoline Hill, designed by Michelangelo.

The Best-Preserved Temple & Rome’s Baroque Masterpieces

We then visit the Pantheon, the best-preserved ancient Roman monument, standing as a testament to engineering perfection. Nearby, Piazza Navona, built on the ancient Stadium of Domitian, invites us to admire its stunning fountains and vibrant atmosphere.

A Grand Finale: The Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps

No visit to Rome is complete without tossing a coin into the Trevi Fountain, ensuring a return to the Eternal City. Finally, we conclude our journey at the iconic Spanish Steps, a perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of Rome.
