18 Euro gets you a seat on a boat that makes a 'loop' on the Tevere. I boarded at Castel S. Angelo. We headed upstream to the Pzza del Popolo stop but we didn't dock to let off/on any passengers. Then we headed back downstream to Isola Tiberina. Here we took on some passengers, turned around and returned to Castel S. Angelo. Round trip was an hour. I had hoped for a longer journey but understand certain parts of the river have rapids and aren't suitable for this sort of boat. No air conditioning below deck, and no covering for above deck so plan accordingly - it did get hot out in the sun. Boat has a bathroom but I didn't use it so can't comment on cleanliness. Rest of boat was clean. Staff were pleasant. No food/beverages for sale so plan accordingly.

Taking the boat like a bus is certainly fascinating, as well as comfortable. The boat does not find traffic and allows you to enjoy beautiful views of Rome. To be encouraged not only for tourism, but also for everyday life (in this case, however, the cost should be lower ...)

October is a good time to travel to Rome! The weather is still warm and there is no rain yet. Also fewer tourists. You should look for lesser known museums and places to eat. Personally, we found many good things in the Trasevere area! Walk walk and walk… this is how you see and experience more ☀️
