Escape the hustle and bustle of central Rome on a 3-hour e-bike tour of the ancient Via Appia. Follow your guide from the Colosseum, then go to the Appia Antica Regina Viarum, one of the earliest and most crucial roads of the Roman Republic. Take advantage of the bike’s pedal-assisted motor to ride alongside the Terme di Caracalla, Ancient Rome's 2nd largest public baths.  Immerse yourself in the quiet atmosphere of the Roman countryside passing by St. Callisto and St. Sebastian Catacombs (visit not included), the ruins of Circus of Massenzio, and the mausoleum Tomb of Cecilia Metella. I did the tour with my son (10 years) on a Sunday morning and we had a perfect last day in Rome. Our guide was very friendly and professionnal regarding the anecdotes of the history of the Via Appia. Some small parts are a bit more tricky to ride because of the car traffic. Overall I recommand the tour to everyone who can ride a bike.

Small group, awesome views and Adriana is a great guide!

We were lucky we were the only ones on the tour. We are Dutch so used to cycling and able to cover lots of ground. Adriana showed is beautiful things, knew a lot and is a very enthusiastic great guide. Rome is awesome and going more outside the city it is beautiful. Cycling one of of Rome’s oldest roads is awesome. I would definitely recommend this!!

Our guide Stefano was laid back and took time to give us information and let us take photos. Our tour only had three people on it, which was so nice and it felt like we were all friends by the end of it. We purchased the tour with E-bikes which definitely helped make it a wonderful experience. Rome has some good sized hills and rough roads so being able to focus on the scenery and not feeling totally out of breath is a must! The Appian Way is gorgeous and feels like you’re riding along the Italian countryside. We also passed the Colosseum on the way out. We took the tour in a Sunday morning, which means the streets were a lot more quite than normal. We definitely recommend going on a Sunday. The tour was exactly what we expected and the staff were all very friendly. We even chatted with them after the tour about the best gelato, granita, and street food (they recommended G. Fassi and we ended up going every day after our tour because we loved it so much)!
