Full description
Take an evocative, fascinating tour down the Appian Way, one of the first streets in Rome. The Ancient Appian Way is also known as the “Queen of the Streets” – it crosses the famous Parco degli Acquedotti, an important biological corridor in Rome’s city center, which tells the tale of the history of water in Rome and its related engineering works – in fact, six ancient Roman aqueducts converge here.   The rest of the tour takes you down a route that evokes the best of the region’s history, culture and art. You will ride on a top-notch and smooth e-bike on a 2,300-year-old meadow and relive the history of the great empire, crossing a unique landscape full of ancient footprints, imperial mansions, statues, tombs, and the St. Calisto Catacombs.

Fun and very interesting alternative way to visit Rome outside the mainstream circuits. The charm of reaching the Imperial walls by bicycle, the ruins of the aqueducts, the route of the Appian Way among woods, streams and little-known corners is priceless. Great professionalism of the guides who illustrate the numerous highlights during the itinerary.

Great tour to see the ancient surroundings of the city of Rome including a ride on the Via Appia. Our guide was great and the electric mountainbikes a great help in the heat. Can highly reconmend this as something different to see in Rome than the usual highlights in a sportive manner

My husband, my son, and I went on the bike tour at the end of July. We spent eight days in Rome and went on many tours, but this tour was our favorite! Everything was very organized and communication was great. Our guide was Nicolas and he was fantastic. I loved how passionate he was when he spoke about the history of Rome and of his own experiences living there. The temperature was in the 90s, but it wasn’t bad because we were on the electric bikes most of the time with the breeze. The tour took us to many unforgettable historic sites.
