Having walked past this site at street level previously, it was great to experience the site first hand. While the area was smaller than I had anticipated, the audio visual guides, video show, and 3D renderings of the original site combined with walking through the almost 2,000 year old remains was well worth the time and money. Thoroughly recommended

Easy to find and get the ticket, and a very cool experience. The museum alitself is super ingeresting and unique, and it's a great place to learn more about roman history especially re sport and it's rulers. Took me about an hour to walk around and see everything, and the gift shop was nice too. Wouldn't say it's a must see if it's your first time to Rome and on a budget as there's so much to do / see, but if you have done all the big monuments before then 100% recommend!
