What to Expect
On your 5-hour guided walk you’ll take in the Aurelian walls, the Circus Maximus, and the Palatine and Aventine hills, where the story of Rome began. You’ll see the Coliseum from the outside, and the site of the Roman Forum that was the stage for years of triumphal marches, sacrifices, political meetings, elections, revolutions, and murders.

Continue on to the Capitoline Hill and then Piazza Venezia, where you’ll see the Victor Emanuel and Unknown Soldier memorials, Mussolini's Balcony, and Napoleon's Palace.

Walk with your guide to the Theater of Marcellus, the Mouth of Truth, the temples of Herculis and of Portunus, and the Trevi Fountain.

Admire the Spanish Steps and visit the interior of the Pantheon. See Piazza Navona, Castel Sant’Angelo, and the Vatican. Marvel at the interior of St. Peter’s Basilica.
