We booked for this before we went to Rome, hoping that we would have the time to do it before travelling on to Florence later that day, which luckily we did. We had looked for the meeting point in advance (before the day) but could not find it so booked a taxi to take us there on the day. The breakfast should have been first so we had not eaten but it was suggested that we went into the Vatican first due to the amount of crowds queuing to get in. This was probably the best idea, but it may have been good to say that this may be done so people can have something to eat first, should they wish. We really enjoyed our visit to the Vatican with our lovely lady guide who was in her 80s and was local and told us lots of interesting information. We then went for breakfast which was a croissant, rather than a cornet, as advertised (but I think that Italians may call them cornets) and a cappuccino or other coffee. It was just a small group, with another couple from Mexico, who were nice.
