    Day 1

    Delight in a scenic drive from Rome through the beautiful countryside of Castelli Romani and its medieval villages. The first stop will be in Naples. This Mediterranean city is famous for its rich history, art, culture, and gastronomy. You’ll drive up the Vomero hill for a view over the town which overlooks the bay of Naples and extends from the Sorrento peninsula to the volcanic area of Phlegrean fields. Admire the majestic and still active volcano Vesuvius which dominates the skyline. This is the perfect spot to take photos of this stunning landmark. Driving down towards the port of Mergellina, travel south towards Mount Vesuvius and the town of Pompeii. After lunch, you'll travel back in time to 79 A.D. When the life and people of Pompeii were frozen by a volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Afterward, take in breathtaking views of the Sorrento coast and enjoy a special fine dinner and an overnight stay hotel on the Sorrento coast.

    Day 2

    For departures from April to October, depart after breakfast and relax on a boat trip to the stunning resort island of Capri. Good weather will allow a visit to the magical blue waters of the Grotta Azzurra caves. Then, unwind on a scenic drive up to Anacapri for breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and a delicious local meal. In your free time, enjoy shopping in the piazza, and explore the cozy streets of Capri. Afterward, enjoy the sun and sea air on the coast. For departures from November to March, you'll have free time in Sorrento to discover the coast or to take a trip to Capri on your own (not included).

    • For Day 2, if bad weather does not allow a trip to Grotta Azzurra due to tidal conditions, you will be taken by boat to the Faraglioni Rocks. If weather conditions do not allow the excursion by boat, you will take a land excursion of the island - valid only from April 1 to October 31
    • From November 01 to March 31 the trip to Capri will not be included in the package
    • Note: when booking for 3 people, you will be assigned a triple room
    • Please note that a specific dress code is required: when entering inside churches or religious sites: no sleeveless tops, shorts or mini skirts are permitted. Men are not allowed to wear shorts in restaurants

    In general, the tour was good, only that in Capri we would have liked to have more free time to explore on our own and take a bath on the beach of the large marina. The guide did not inform in advance what the activities in Capri were. The bus guide was very good and the Pompeii guide really dealt with the history of Pompeii very well, it was excellent. Hotel in Sorrento very nice.

    Our knowledgeable tour managers and tour guides made our tour fantastic. Our tour guide in Pompeii was very knowledgeable. Our tour manager for one day tour from Sorento to Capri, Mr. Sasha, was very efficient, He really managed that one day Capri tour in a very fantastic way by ensuring that we visit all places given in our itinerary. Our tour coordinator Carra from Capri to Rome via Naples was very helpful and beautiful. She helped me in catching my last train from Naples to Florence, which would otherwise have been missed. I am grateful to all the tour managers and guides. With respect the accommodation, group members were accommodated in different hotel. We were provided the hotel on the mountain. There was a terrace on the first floor of the hotel, from where the outside view of the bay was very good. The dinner and breakfast in the hotel was very good, especially the lemon cake was amazing. The Pizza in Naples was one of the best. Lemon slush in Pompeii and Capri was excellent.

    Amazing trip!

    This trip was well organized and alot of fun. The main reason for the 4 stars is the wasted time for lunch on day 1 in Naples. Food was awful. Some even got sick and it took approx 2 hours from our day time could definitely have been better spent! Marco and Simona were incredible with their knowledge. Learned so much! Blue Grotto was priceless.
