Enjoy a light lunch based on truffle and bubbles. After that, crossing the most beautiful views of Val D'Orcia, you will reach Montalcino. Home of the world-famous Brunello wine, Montalcino is an intriguing medieval hilltop town. Brunello wine is said to be "the king of reds and the red of kings". Brunello will now be our host and you its welcomed host. Brunello was developed by a Noble Tuscany Family a little more than a century ago, and almost immediately drew the attention of connoisseurs for its excellence. Brunello is produced exclusively within the Montalcino territory, and only from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, a Sangiovese clone perfectly suited to local conditions. Before release, Brunello must be aged for four years, at least two of which must be in wooden casks. At the end of the tour, sit back, relax, and enjoy your 2-1/2 hour drive back to your hotel in Rome.
