a nice moment shared with my pre-teen... he really enjoyed trying out some inventions. It was quite fun with the screens, the explanations in French were also appreciated. small downside on the workshop (construction of the wooden bridge). There were 3 tables but not enough sticks for 2 children to build the bridge on their own. Interesting visit

It was an AMAZING exhibit! I knew Leonardo d Vinci was an inventor, but had no idea on the number and the broad scope of inventions he conceived of in use today. It included a parachute, hang glider, underwater breathing, ball bearing, worm screw, and more.

Interesting, with quite a few hands-on exhibits. I broke the bridge while testing it but found it had been reassembled in two half size versions before I left. There's a bonus ancient tomb and still-active aquifer in the basement. The whole exhibit is in the basement! Only bummer was the optional audio guide which had interesting talks about each of the six rooms but no coordination with the exhibits you are actually viewing or touching. We turned it off. Not at all crowded. BTW there are exhibits of Da Vinci's machines also in Venice and Florence. We enjoyed the visit and spent about an hour.
