It's a shame that the time of our tour was changed from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. the evening before. This meant that we were unable to visit St. Peter's Basilica, which was actually very important to us. The guide was also very difficult to understand and paid little attention to the group. Next time I would prefer to book this tour with a different provider.

On the whole a good experience but a little rushed at times.. understandable when you realise just how many people they are packing in . A few minor niggles knowledgeable guide but borderline abrupt on a few occasions with a few people in the group… maybe a cultural thing. However I would say on the whole loads to see and to understand the history behind it all your better off with a guide.
