This trip was fantastic! I had no expectations and loved both locations. We were lucky to go during Feast of San Giuseppe so there was a festival with street foods, carnival games etc. Tivoli is a real gem. Both Hadrian's Villa and Villa D"Estes are beautiful in different ways. I was really blown away by the gardens at Villa D'Estes and was impressed by the well preserved ruins at Hadrian's Villa. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
