From Rome: Pompeii and Positano with Limoncello Tasting

Your journey will start visiting one of the most famous archaeological sites, the incredible ancient city of Pompeii, that never fails to amaze its visitors. Once in Pompeii, an English-speaking expert archaeologist will escort you to the entrance and will guide you on the site to show you the stunning amphitheater, temples, theaters, baths and forum. You won't have to wait in line, as we have reserved you a special Skip the Line access . As a guided tour, following our archaeological Pompeii site expert, you will feel as if you were walking in the past, as you see a variety of buildings from villas with frescoes and mosaics to bath houses, fast food stores to outdoor theatres – it won’t be difficult to imagine the hustle and bustle of this once-busy port town!

From here, once you’ve had your fill of this remarkable ancient space, you’ll head to the breathtaking coastal town of Positano. Nestled on the beautiful Amalfi Coast, the town has stunning colorful houses, incredible sea views and a mountainous backdrop. You’ll have two hours of free time to enjoy as you please - snap some scenic photographs, grab some lunch, wander around the boutique shops and generally soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

Our day trip doesn’t end here, we’ll drive a short way to have a Limoncello tasting. Limoncello is the most famous Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in the region around the Sorrentine Peninsula and the coast of Amalfi. You will receive an explanation of how the limocello is made and you will taste different typologies of Limoncello, with the chance to shop a bottle as a souvenir/gift!
