Full description
After disembarking from your cruise ship at the port of Civitavecchia, take the shuttle service to the Cruise Welcome Center at Largo del la Pace. Upon exiting the shuttle bus, meet your tour representative at the marked meeting point at no later than 9:15 AM. The meeting point is marked with a banner and it is before you exit the port.
Hop on the bus and begin your journey to Rome at 9:15 AM. Travel for approximately 90 minutes and arrive at Via Crescenzio in Rome. Be escorted to the first portion of the tour, the Vatican Museums. Start your 3-hour tour of this famous site which houses a vast collection of artwork and sculptures accumulated by various popes throughout the centuries.
Then, visit the Sistine Chapel where you can admire the marvelous frescoes that decorate its interior, including Michaelangelo's "The Last Judgement" which adorns its ceiling. Finally, enter St. Peter's Basilica via a back door entrance, where your tour will conclude. Make your way back to Via Crescenzio and depart Rome at 4:00 PM. Arrive back at the port in Civitavecchia at approximately 5:30 PM.

Meeting point
The meeting place is at the Cruise Welcome Center in Civitavecchia. Please take the complimentary port shuttle from your ship to the Cruise Welcome Center where you will find a "Big Bus Tours" staff member. They will escort you to the Rome transfer bus which is waiting just outside the Cruise Welcome Center. Please check-in before 9:15 AM.

Know before you go

- After the guided tour of the sights in Rome, you will need to walk back to the shuttle departure place on Via Crescenzio on your own. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes. Maps and information will be provided
