Amazing day with great hosts, breathtaking views of Positano, Almalfi, and Pompeii. Also the pick up and drop off right to our hotel couldn’t have been more convenient, and our tourguides and drivers were polite, professional, knowledgeable, and even shared some local sfogliatelle with us at one of the stops. I will definitely book this again and the price we paid was easily worth the views, information, and driving, and even made some friends that were touring with us! Nothing I can type in 1,000 characters can begin to convey what a nice day this was - you’ll just have to see for yourself!

Watch history come to life on a guided tour of the Pompeii archeological site and uncover the stunning beauty of the coastal towns of Positano and Amalfi on this day trip from Naples. Travel in a comfortable and airconditioned vehicle and enjoy pickup and drop-off at your hotel.  The tour starts from your hotel in Rome heading towards the bay of Naples. During the journey you will have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning views of the coast. Once you get to the archaeological site of Pompeii, the guide will take you on a tour along the best of this remarkably intact Roman city.

You will visit the main areas such as the food market, the thermal bath, and the residences of some wealthy citizens. Get to know the customs and daily life of the time before the destructive volcanic eruption.

From Pompeii you will reach Positano and Amalfi where you can appreciate the beauty of these dreamlike cities and their fascinating history before returning to Rome.

Greatly enjoyed the trip. First, a bit of negative: Being honest, the price is more expensive than it should have been / I’d say about $75USD too much, but I’m still glad we did it. Stefano was very patient with everyone offering several photos opportunities. He is also an excellent driver on those crazy narrow Italian roads.
