Before the tour even started we got a call and message from the tour owner Fabrizio to give us contact info and coordinate meeting. Fabrizio also followed up after to make sure the trip was good. It was! Emanuele was GREAT! Upon picking us up he asked us what we wanted to do and see and built the itinerary around it. He was very knowledgeable about the sights and had a book and audio tape for each. He was courteous and thoughtful, suggesting we stop for restroom and water before entering the city, giving us advice on how much time we should spend and what we should look for. He always dropped us off right at each site and was exactly where he said he would be. He selected a nice restaurant for lunch and waited within view. We saw so much in such a short time and NEVR felt rushed. These are the same guys Disney uses, for half the price. Book with confidence. Excellent.
We were really pleased with our boat trip and highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a relaxing day and seeing a part of Italy that only the Italians know about. The waters were incredible and the Ponza island is so quaint. Our tour guide , Kimberly was an amazing hostess and shared a lot of her love for Italy and Ponza with us. The captain cooked an amazing pasta lunch at Just the right time. We smelled it cooking below all day. Don't skip this trip.
This was a fantastic trip. Well organized and easy and safe to book. Kimberley was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. She was very intunned to what we wanted to see and experience and she and the captain ensured we were not disappointed. The lunch was great. The snorkelling and swimming were fantastic. Honestly the highlight of our Rome 15 day vacation. Would donit again in a heartbeat.
Overall good. Local guide Wilma should not be a walking guide; too slow for Pompeii. Serve pizza for 1st day's lunch. Resort that served the fish and steamed meat was awful. Keep it simple and short. We all felt 2-3 hrs was wasted sitting waiting for bad food. Wish we had more time to explore Pompeii. Office staff was very rude and not helpful!
The guides were authentic and informed. We loved the Hotel Vesuvius in Sorrento which we spent more time there. The boat excursion to Capri and Anacapri was idyllically scenic. We had no complaints everything was perfect except the chance we missed to enter the Blue Grotto due to semi rough seas.
