This was much better value than expected. The virtual reality gives insights into how the site would have looked, with the colossus statue of Nero etc. Silvia and her team were great giving operating advice then you still got your skip the line tickets. Whole thing was over 4 hours for us and you could have easily made it longer. Wouldn’t have missed it for anything

Because we wanted a different experience this time we accessed a tour with virtual reality glasses. It was a perfect choice to better understand the grandeur of the place visited but also to better enter the "story of the place". An excellent idea that I hope to meet again at other tourist attractions such as the Romanian Forum and more. The guide who accompanied us took great care to explain what we have to do but also to make this interactive experience for children and teenagers. The little surprise at the end was welcome and will help us remember the place visited but also the wonderful experience at the Colosseum.

It was a fun introduction and staff was really friendly. Don't expect to much of the graphics. It looks a little bit like you're playing a Nintendo 64 or playstation 1 game. You also won't go inside the colloseum with the VR glasses. You do the edperience outside and then you receive a ticket to go in on your own. We booked an "upgrade" on the spot for 5 euro p.p. to go inside the colloseum with a guide. We had to wait for a little while for her to get ready, she wasn't extremely knowledgeable and we were inside for a rather short time. No regrets whatsoever. It was fun thing to do and something different!
