Know before you go
- A government-issued ID/passport will be required for every participant when entering the monument. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing you entrance to the monument
- Names provided during the booking process must match the ID provided at the entrance of the Colosseum
- The start time is subject to change. Do not book this tour on your day of travel or on the same day as another tour (refunds will not be given to customers that cannot attend an updated start time). Updated information will be emailed as soon as any changes are made
- The tour can start at either the Colosseum or the Palatine Hill/Roman Forum
- The tour will run rain or shine (unless the monument is closed by the officials for safety reasons)
- There are mandatory security checks at all entry points to the sites. The wait time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
