Absolutely worth the money and experience. The underground colosseum tour keeps you away from large crowds and the lower levels of the colosseum are much colder and keep much of the heat away in the summer. Our tour guides for the colosseum and the forum were very knowledgeable and took the time to stop for photo ops along the way. A must do for first timers and returners!
This tour included so much information! From a variety of points within the colosseum to the Roman Forum, we saw and heard about it all! I also appreciated how our guide talked about the history of Rome in continuum from antiquity to modern day and the themes we see over and over as we study humankind. It was HOT, but worth it all!
