Very good trip around the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill & Forum. My guide was excellent and really helped bring the experience to life and had lots of facts about the daily life in the area and at the games which aren't all as Hollywood would let you believe. The trip was at a good pace and I had plenty of time at each site.

Very informative, skipped all queues, worth the money!

The tour was well organised, I was given an audio guide from the start and I never felt rushed. Our tour guide (I think he’s called Frances) was knowledgeable, and took with him lots of additional pictures to show us how the ruins used to be like as compared to now, and he also explained to us in detail about the building materials of the coliseum, even pointing out what marbles were from Egypt. Very informative tour, can’t ask for more. I would have lost interest at the Palatine if I did not have a guide with me, to explain to me what I was actually seeing. Generally I am not a fan of history, but after the tour I was motivated to buy a Rome guide (in a random bookshop) because through the tour I’d understood more about Roman history and its impact to the modern world! Overall an excellent tour! Would recommend to all my friends who might go to Rome someday! —By a tourist from Manchester

Our guide was outstanding with a deep passion for the history of Rome

Excellent tour. Only 8 people so easy to ask questions. Must have been a slow day as there was no line to "skip" but that made the tour that much better. Tour lasted longer than expected as our guide was truly excited to show us Rome and answered all our questions in great depth. I am sorry I do not know his name as he made the tour beyond awesome.
