    Next, travel to Basilica of San Martino ai Monti. Dating back to the 4th century, this church is located near the edge of the Parco del Colle Oppio. Admire the stunning frescoes by artists such as Pietro Testa, Matteo Riccione, and Giannangiolo Canini that adorn the church walls, and see the Chapel of Our Lady of Mt Carmel. Finally, visit the Capuchin Crypt. Capuchin monks used the bones of their nearly 4,000 brothers to intricately decorate the floor-to-ceiling designs, lending it the macabre nickname of "the Bone Chapel." Your guide will tell you the theories, but ultimately you will decide on the meaning of the crypt’s robed skeletons and vertebrae chandeliers.     This is an excellent tour to take when visiting Rome! It's a bit different than the usual tourist attractions, but well worth it. We met our tour guide at a Piazza in Rome. There we were divided into two groups, as there were two tour guides. We boarded a bus and drove maybe 20 minutes to the first catacombs a little outside the city. After this tour we headed back into the city for a visit to a church and then ended with the Bine Chapel visit. The walkways in the crypts are very tight, so people with claustrophobia or other space issues, may want to reconsider taking this tour. The guides did offer to get anyone out, should this become an issue. I found this tour to be highly informative and a great part of our visit to Rome! I can highly recommend this tour!

    Loved the tour! Team Devon was awesome, very enthusiastic about each part of the tour, in fact both guides seemed to enjoy their jobs, and it showed. The side visit to a church (can't remember the name) was a hidden gem, and of course the catacombs too! However, the bone church stole the show!

    This tour was fantastic. Our guide Eivin (I hope I spelled that correctly) was adorable. He was cracking jokes the whole time while also being knowledgeable, passionate and informative. You can tell he loves Rome and loves being a guide. These locations are once in a lifetime experiences, and I highly recommend it! Wear comfortable shoes, and know there is a lot of walking in tight spaces.
